October 8- New Member Orientation. New members are invited to come and learn about ways to become involved with the Chamber. The event is free and lunch will be provided. October 8— Leads Group. All members of the Chamber are invited to network and share leads one with another during this comfortable atmosphere where business leaders can come together and form business relationships. We will meet at 8:00 am at Mimi’s Café. The cost is simply the cost of your meal. Please RSVP to Kari Mcclelland at or 851-2564.

October 14 – Women’s Business Network Athena Awards luncheon. The ATHENA Award is presented to a woman -or man- who is honored for professional excellence, community service and for actively assisting women in their attainment of professional excellence and leadership skills. Mix and mingle begins at 11:30 a.m. followed by a speaker and lunch at noon. Keynote speaker will be Chieko Okazaki, renowned author and speaker. October 16 – Chamber University. The Chamber University is a free business seminar series created to assist Chamber members striving to improve their business. Training by Manifest Management on the topic of “The 5 Universal Laws of Business Success.” In this workshop you will learn the details of these laws and why companies who apply these laws well will not only survive, but thrive in today’s competitive marketplace and economy. October 23 - Watkins Awards. The Provo-Orem Chamber of Commerce invites you to help honor outstanding Orem Citizens at An Evening of Achievement. The 30th Annual Senator Arthur Watkins Awards will be held Thursday October 23rd at the UVU Center Stage Ballroom. Reception at 6:30 pm. November 14- First Friday Forum. The First Friday Forum will be held at the Marriott Provo Hotel and Conference Center. Speakers are Kathy Loveless and Mark Eaton.
